Privacy Policy

BookingBridge ("we", "us") is a web studio based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect and how we handle it, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email address, phone number if you share it, and details about your business — only what you choose to send us.
  • When we build your site: business information, photos and content you provide for the project.
  • On this website: we don't use advertising trackers. If we use basic analytics, it's to understand aggregate traffic, not to identify you.

How we use it

  • To respond to your inquiry and prepare your free mockup.
  • To deliver services you've hired us for.
  • To send you information you've asked for. We don't sell or rent personal information to anyone.

AI assistant conversations

If a website we manage includes our AI chat assistant, conversations with the assistant (including contact details a visitor shares) are stored so the business can follow up, and are processed by our AI service provider to generate responses. We don't use these conversations for advertising, and we don't sell them.

Storage and retention

Information may be stored on servers located outside Canada (for example, with hosting and email providers in the United States) and is subject to the laws of those jurisdictions. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@bookingbridge.ca and we'll respond promptly.

Terms of Service

The free mockup

The homepage mockup is free and carries no obligation for either side. If you don't proceed, you owe nothing; the mockup design remains our property. If you do proceed, the mockup becomes part of your project.

Website projects

  • Prices are fixed and agreed in writing before work begins. The agreed price is the price you pay.
  • On full payment, you own your website: the design, the content we wrote for you, your domain, and your files. We may display the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
  • You're responsible for having the rights to materials you give us (photos, logos, text).
  • Third-party costs (domain registration, hosting) are billed at cost and are separate from the build price.

AI assistant subscription

  • The AI assistant is a monthly subscription service, separate from website ownership. It runs while the subscription is active and stops if the subscription ends or payment fails after a grace period.
  • The assistant generates responses automatically. We configure it carefully for your business, but like any automated system it can make mistakes — it should not be relied on for emergency dispatch, medical, legal or financial advice.
  • You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Timelines and revisions

Typical builds go live within about a week of receiving your content and approval. Timelines depend on receiving materials and feedback from you; delays on either side shift the schedule, not the price.

Liability

We build carefully and stand behind our work. That said, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for those services. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost business opportunities.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario.

Questions

Anything unclear? Email hello@bookingbridge.ca — we're glad to explain anything in plain terms.

This page is written in plain language on purpose — it reflects how we actually work. If you'd like a formal signed agreement for your project, just ask; happy to do that.
